Ivy’s Flea Spray!

Once I got the taste of Ivy’s Rose Rabadi, small savories arrived every single day. Though Ivy always upset me a little when she scampered away, each time her two little saviors came to visit her, she never stopped sweetening me with her serenity.

Inside that time of silence and a kind of hiding away from a work place that stank of irksome things, we dug out two recipes to make Ivy’s Flea Spray!

This one we dug out from Reader’s Digest:

Flea Spray:

2 lemons

500 ml boiling water

Chop four or five lemons with the skin on. Place in a heat-proof bowl and pour boiling water over them.

Steep the mixture overnight, then strain into a spray bottle.

Spray a mist over vacuumed carpets and clean pet bedding.

Flea Powder:

500 g. bicarbonate of soda

20 drops pennyroyal essential oil

Mix bicarbonate of soda and oil together nicely. Sprinkle over carpets and furniture using a sifter or fine-mesh strainer with a teaspoon.

Leave it for at least one hour, and then vacuum!

If you have too many fleas clean vigorously then spray pyrethrum in cracks and crevices and wherever you spot these pests!

Then roses at the rose garden and nursery contributed their own generous mounds of Rose Rabadi to soak up. So another day with my silver stone grey cat spilled out joy.

I am not able to put a like note under any of the blogs I am now following. I just get the blog without those markings below to say 'like' what is happening? Please help
