Nap-Gardening & Netflix with low-fat fruit yoghurt!

Nap-gardening comes with many benefits….

You soak in the sunshine, keep away from Netflix, and talk to nature! If you are lucky you can double your pay check by claiming overtime for babysitting the ferns and the roses.

Anything you claim to do for the roses, always gives you extra points!

Now we learn that Netflix has this new season of Secret City, a very powerful Australian television thriller crammed with  crooked, creepy political thugs and an engaging female journalist who is again going to expose them and scrape them out of the system!

But we still prefer the outdoors and don’t care how much we are missing out on human malice and greed. What else is new there?!

Instead of watching too much television we dug out these chilling facts about sugar! Today’s ten ounce soda typically contains around ten teaspoons of sugar!

One smart school in America began to fight for her students against the terrible costs of sugar coated school lunches and teas! The Coke machine, the snack machine, the deep fryer etc. were flung out! Kirkpatrick Elementary, one of a batch of primary schools in Clarksdale, Mississippi realized that sugar had to be controlled in the lives of its students. High rates of obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease were coming too close!

Students were lured towards baked instead of fried, fruit instead of candy etc. According to National Geographic Magazine the average American has 22.7 teaspoons of sugar a day even without dipping into a sugar bowl! This is due to the sugar waiting for us in processed foods!

Low fat fruit yoghurt contains 6.16 tsp. of sugar!

Oreo cookies (now so popular in India as well) three of them, contain 2.49 tsp. of sugar! And if you have these while watching Netflix just imagine!
