Cat-gardening Chronicles: don’t turn your back on gardening!

You can’t turn your back on gardening!

And when not gardening watch The Body Guard and Top of the Lake on Netflix!

If you want to stay slim and trim like me, you really can’t turn your back on gardening! It is hard work no doubt, the watering, the watching, the muddy footprints etc. But one has to work to pay the bills and buy some catnip for a rainy day to fight the blues or the back ache.

Then there is the sad truth that the lazy gardener is right now too busy watching Netflix gold like The Body Guard (very addictive) and Top of the Lake, which you can’t afford to miss! Both are very superior television chillers.

The lemon grass and the spider plant have to be watered twice a day and since we are always tucking in to them, it is a wise choice to buy them in double or triple backs!

Another good flower to have is the Florist’s Mom or Chrysanthemum morifolium which is a cheap way to get the rainbow into every house or garden. According to NASA studies this is one of the best flowers for removing formaldehyde, benzene and ammonia from the atmosphere.

This sturdy garden beauty keeps pests away even better than we keep rats away!
