Cat-gardening Chronicles: banana skin to wash plants?

Cat-gardening Chronicles: Red roses are better than Apple Cider Vinegar!

The house is reeking with the smell of Apple Cider Vinegar and we cat-gardeners are trying to find out what the fuss is about in this book The Miracle of Apple Cider Vinegar by Dr. Penny Stanway.

On You Tube the virtues of this very strong smelling medicine were too often shown to have health benefits for cats and we all had to endure it being sprayed on us whenever we were sleeping or otherwise unaware. Half a cup of this vinegar was mixed with half a cup of water and it was lavishly sprayed on our fur!

There should be a law against this to save cats from enduring this and lemon rinse! That awful (we think) medicine for chasing fleas away is made by putting two large lemons in a litre of hot water, kept overnight and then sprayed on us. We hate the smell and so do the fleas as they vanish. But given a choice we prefer the fleas. But who listens to us?

Apple Cider Vinegar too has a ghastly smell we think, but it has so many benefits for humans and alas for cats, that they must read it to find out if they all work. It even tells how to make your own at home.

This book also tells you to repel dog fleas by adding half a cup of apple cider vinegar to the final rinsing water when you shampoo your dog!

You can repel mosquitoes by filling a spray bottle with one third cup apple cider vinegar, one third cup witch hazel and four drops of citronella oil and use to spray your skin!

You can kill weeds by spraying this vinegar. You can wash your windows with it! Read this book to find out how useful this stuff is. We wish we could love it more but alas the smell gives us very good exercise as we run as fast as we possibly can to get away from the spray bottle!

We think even red roses are slightly better to handle!

How to brighten houseplants!

If you feel glum when you see that your houseplants have turned dusty and dull when you return from a trip, then try this very strange tip from Reader’s Digest! Eat up a banana and then wipe down each leaf of your plants with the inside of a banana skin! It will soon remove all the dust on the leaf!

I am not able to put a like note under any of the blogs I am now following. I just get the blog without those markings below to say 'like' what is happening? Please help
