Gardening is the best way to lose weight!
The Advertising Standards Council of India had to remove the advertisement put out by Aura Weight Loss Clinic which urged fat consumers to get rid of four kilograms in one month by using their services without medicine, surgery or side effects.
Such advertisements should have valid proof to prove their claims. But they had no such proof or scientific validity to show to the ASCI.
From the ASCI website: Aura Weight Loss Clinic: The advertisement’s claims, “Lose Up to four Kilograms in one Month”, and “No medicine, No surgery, No Side-effects”, were not substantiated with supporting clinical evidence, and with treatment efficacy data, and are misleading by exaggeration. The visual in the advertisement implies that significant weight loss around tummy would be feasible, which is also grossly misleading.
