Karwar consumer forum helps buyer who got a sick Lenova mobile through Flip Kart!

I am not shopping with Flip Kart again!

Dinesh N. had bought a Lenova K5 Plus 3 GB mobile handset online through Flip Kart.com for Rs. 8499. A few months later it began to give trouble due to defects in the speaker and he complained to Sri Shakti Services Hubli who are the authorized service centre for Lenova.

They repaired the phone and returned it to him. But after two days the handset developed internal problems and he returned it to the service centre. They fixed the problem two more times but the mobile again malfunctioned due to the sim slot not working etc.

He finally asked them for a refund and when they did not oblige he complained to the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum at Karwar. Its President Mr. Justice G.M. Kumbar found Lenova and the service centre guilty of deficient service and ordered them to repair the phone properly, or give him a brand new one, or just refund the amount to Dinesh along with Rs. 3000 as compensation for causing him problems.

I am not able to put a like note under any of the blogs I am now following. I just get the blog without those markings below to say 'like' what is happening? Please help
