Wordless Wednesday: Try bamboo for green gardening and clothing

Wordless Wednesday’s Green Tip: Try bamboo for gardening and for clothing!

Bamboo is a very lovely environmentally friendly fibre. It grows almost magically fast, and needs just four years to reach its full height!

It enriches the soil in your garden and can be grown without chemicals or pesticides.

It is 100 per cent biodegradable.

It sends out new shoots from its roots, which multiply its size naturally.

It is a very smart choice for making nappies with it! It is now being used for nightwear, beachwear, and is soft and light as silk. It has anti-bacterial properties. It will keep you warm in winter and cool in summer!
