Once you get rid of clingfilm, now get rid of aluminium foil! Use plastic boxes instead of these bad for the planet items, for storing onion, ginger, capsicum, etc. They will keep very well in the fridge! You can also use the same box for a very long time.
Put your left overs also inside plastic boxes. I for some reason, have never used either aluminium foil or clingfilm in my kitchen! It has never occurred to me to use them. Cooked vegetables can be stored in the fridge or the freezer for easy thawing and microwaving.
