Use urine in your garden for the planet!
It is a good choice for the planet to use urine in our gardens. It is a waste to flush away gallons of water which are a rich source of fertility, says the Organic Garden Basics book by Bob Flowerdew.
Collected in a bucket it makes a wonderful compost activator, he says. Or else, each day’s quota can be diluted down about 20:1 and watered on last thing at night to feed lawns and increase the cuttings for use elsewhere.
