K.R. Srishylam of Mysore suffered from a spinal cord injury. When he was discharged from hospital he urgently needed home care service. His daughter paid up Rs. 15,000 as advance to the Vision Good Health Services Mysore and they agreed to send a home care nurse for her father. But they did not send help and also refused to refund the money. Then later they gave her a cheque which bounced.
The daughter complained to the Mysore consumer forum which has ordered Vision Good Health Services to refund Rs. 15,000 to the wheel chair bound consumer along with Rs. 8000 as compensation for causing harm and damage to him along with Rs. 2000 as costs!
