Dr. B.M. Krishna of Mandya city had paid up Rs. 66,000 each to get his two daughters Isha and Varsha admitted to the Royal Concarde International school in Mysore. But later due to family issues, he could not leave Mandya and hence his daughters could not join the school in Mandya.
He requested the school to refund his money as they had not attended even a single day in class. The school refused to return the money and he had to complain to the Mysore consumer district redressal forum which ordered the school to repay the amount along with Rs. 5000 as compensation and Rs. 2000 as litigation expenses.
