Juice Pulp makes good compost!

If you love fresh vegetable or fruit juice, remember that the leftover pulp and rinds are a great addition to your compost bin. Juice pulp is high in nitrogen and will break down rapidly to make rich compost. Consider asking the local juice company for a bucket or two of their left over juice pulp. Even


the small fruit juice shop down the road may be willing to give their juice pulp to you, if they are not already using it themselves for composting!

But many shops often waste this valuable resource by throwing away the nutrient rich pulp into the garbage!
