Give your garden a new look by using up unwanted bathroom furniture in it. Plant geraniums, polka dots, ivies or ferns inside sinks, tubs, soil pipes and even lavatories! I found a lavatory long time ago and today a snug bottle green ivy family is giving it a new and prettier look!

Another has been filled up with spider plants which has made all the cats very pleased with this gift. They enjoy nibbling it almost as much as catnip.

 

You can also use these containers to plant invasive plants inside them such as mint or even a Rangoon Creeper!

Mint leaves are very good for cleaning bad breath! Just chew a few fresh leaves. Once a week, brush your teeth with freshly pressed lemon juice says The Green Witch by Barbara Griggs. All the mints are cooling and can heal tired feet. 4-5 drops of peppermint oil in a tepid footbath is a good treat.

Pamper yourself with a lemon bath on a hot day. Take handfuls of all the lemony herbs – Lemon Verbena, Lemon Balm, Mint and Lemon Thyme, she advises. Put them in a pan with a twist of lemon peel. Fill it up with cold water, bring to a boil and simmer gently, covered for 20 minutes. Then strain into a luke warm bath.
