Employ a Poinsettia as your prettily dressed Cleaning Staff!

The Poinsettia, also known as Euphorbia pulcherrima with its stunning red bracts, reminds you of churches, temples, festivals, weddings and birthday parties. It is a wonderful plant and is dressed up daintily by its very enchanting red leaves. It was found in Southern Mexico and was gifted to the world as a houseplant by Joel Poinsett in 1830.

It is believed that 90 per cent of the world’s poinsettias come from the Paul Ecke Ranch in California.

In a small way this beauty helps to clear up indoor air pollution. Its overall rating is 5.1 says Dr. B.C. Wolverton in his book How to Grow Fresh Air. He is the Nasa scientist who showed the world how house plants can help to keep indoor air fresh.
