Coca Cola found guilty of not properly advertising the health risks of their Zero coke!

Should we drink more water and less Zero Coke?!!!

A consumer has complained to the Advertising Standards Council of India against Coca Coca India Pvt. Ltd. (Coca Cola Zero) for not displaying the important information about their product, that could harm consumers, especially children who are addicted to carbonated water.

Coca Cola Zero contains an admixture of aspartame and acesulfame potassium which are not recommended for children. It also contains phenylketonurics. But this information is too small and not in readable type on the bottle! The ASCI asked Coca Cola for their response and the company admitted that the disclaimer is not as per the size stipulated by the ASCI guidelines!

The complaint was upheld by the ASCI!

Water may be the safer choice!
