Protect the owl for the Planet!
The most common bird of prey is the owl which feeds on a diet of mice, rats, and voles. Every single type of owl is now under threat in the countryside. Over use of pesticides and chemicals on farms and our poisoning of their food has helped in the massive decline in the numbers of these nocturnal creatures that have perfect hearing and silent flight.
Only 135 species remain so monitor and protect them. Report them dead or alive and make nesting boxes for them. Do not poison rats and allow them to breed without chemical poisoning in the countryside so that owls can eat them without being harmed.
